YEREVAN, MARCH 1, ARMENRPESS. The twelfth Caucasus Travel Show launched in Yerevan on March 1. The Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Ara Petrosyan made his opening speech saying, that the exhibition is a good platform for fostering the business environment, business meetings, and reciprocal discussion of the problems of the sphere. As reports "Armenpress" among other things the Deputy Minister stated: "The law states that tourism is a prior area. This sphere is in the irreversible development and it is going to record new achievements. It perfectly illustrates the decentralization process to the remote regions of the courtry."
U.S. Agency for International Development Office Director Karen Hilliard said that the USAID is pleased to support the exhibition. "Tourism, IT, business and pharmaceutics have the greatest growth potential for the next five years. This event reflects the cooperation between a number of countries," Hilliard said.
This year the job fair will be organized for the students and alumni of the educational institutions, as well as a cognitive tour for the tourists.
