YEREVAN, JANUARY 21, ARMENPRESS. Presidential candidate, the Republican Party of Armenia leader Serzh Sargsyan’s election program preface states: "I assure you, that we shall be living in a much better Armenia in 2018. We shall firmly follow that way, the way leading us to secure Armenia." As reports "Armenpress" it has been publicized in the new official website serzhsargsyan.am on January 21.
The following subchapters are included In Serzh Sargsyan's election program: "Secure homeland", "The Armenian army is the number one guarantee of the secure motherland", "Foreign policy on the way to the secure homeland", "Solely the Artsakh people is to decide the fate of Nagorno Karabakh", "Towards secure Armenia together with out sisters and brothers from Diaspora", "Only fair Armenia can be secure", "Labor and respectable merits", and others. Serzh Sargsyan's program states: "The goal of our development is the secure homeland and secured family".
Among other things Serzh Sargsyan underscores: "It has already been 22 years since we are living in free and independent Republic of Armenia. Taking into consideration the lessons of the past we are creating our present by ourselves, marking our way of future. The road leading to the independence was not easy; it strengthened us and we became stronger and more experienced.
Unquestionably, it is unacceptable to think that the lapses and problems of the country are conditioned with the erroneous heritage of the past and young age of our republic. The Armenian state has already passed into the stage of maturity, and the present serious issues should swiftly find their appropriate and distinct solutions. During the previous five years we have faced with a number of external and inner challenges, steadily moved forward, believed and spared no effort to make Armenia much better place for every and each person.
During the 22 years of independence we have already recorded great success. Today we have an army with high level of combat-readiness, which provides security of our homeland, state authority and mature institutes of local self-governance, developing civil society and media. Strong Armenian family is our most significant value. Secure homeland and secured families – these are of a certain importance for bringing into existence secure Armenia."
The election campaign launches on January 21 and will last until February 16. The deadline of submitting resignations to the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia is 18:00 o’clock, February 8. The electronic votes will launch at 08:00 o’clock on February 9 and last until 20:00 o’clock February 13. The votes will kick off on February 18 at 08:00 and will last until 20:00 o’clock. Final results of the presidential elections will be announced on February 25, 2013.
