Response of Turkish MFA regarding the issue of opening Turkish-Armenian border for Syrian Armenians

YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey responded to the initiation in the official web site of USA President organizing petition on opening of Armenian-Turkish borderfor Syrian refugees. As reports Armenpress referring to the web site of Turkish MFA it is mainly noted in the message that Turkish nation has kept the tradition of extending a helping hand to those who have been in a dire need without any religious, lingual, racial and ethnical discrimination, which has been a natural manifestation of the conscientious understanding it had inherited from its ancestors. Therefore, at the same time there was nothing about new humanitarian step in the message.

“It is obvious that the scope, method and conditions of any steps to be taken in meeting possible demands regarding humanitarian issues, will be determined by Turkey,” was noted in the message.
