YEREVAN, JANUARY 12, ARMENPRESS: The relations between Iran and Azerbaijan have no perspective to be repaired, as long as Azerbaijan continues to undermine efforts in Iran. Specialist on Iranian studies Vardan Voskanyan came forth with similar statements on January 12, Armenpress reports. "Iran calls Baku to cease anti-Iranian operations, as well as its disruptive forces orchestrated in the territory. Atrpatakan area has always been known among Armenians as Aghvank, the stated area has never been called Azerbaijan. Atrapatakan is familiar to us since the 5th century'' specialist stated. In his words Azerbaijan is making efforts to speculate Azerbaijani ''identity'' in Atrpatakan, yet no success. According to Voskanyan the relations between the two countries do not have any perspective to spur.
