YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. During the extra session of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia, which was held on January 8, the Central Electoral Commission has made a decision of giving 48 hours to those presidential candidates, which has not paid the election deposit yet. They can make the necessary payment till 14:00, January 10. As reports "Armenpress" several presidential candidates have not paid the election deposit yet. Among them are Taron Abrahamyan, Robert Aharonyan, Ruben Ayvazyan, Mher Hayrapetyan, Aram Harutyunyan, Narine Mkrtchyan, Pavlik Sargsyan, and Robert Simonyan.
The deadline of submitting all the necessary documents to the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia ended on January 4, 2013. The Republican Party of Armenia Leader, President Serzh Sargsyan’s documents for participation in the presidential elections have been submitted to the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia on December 27.
The registration of the nominated candidates will be held on January 4-14. The election campaign will launch on January 21 and will last until February 16. The deadline of submitting resignations to the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia is 18:00 o’clock February 8. The electronic votes will launch at 08:00 o’clock on February 9 and last until 20:00 o’clock February 13. The votes will kick off on February 18 at 08:00 and will last until 20:00 o’clock. Final results of the presidential elections will be announced on February 25, 2013.
