YEREVAN, DECEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. The sphere of healthcare is always being under the surveillance of both the professional circles and society. During 2012 the main problems of the realm were at the centre of attention of the mass media and the authorities under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Armenia. Advancing 2013 "Armenpress" is summing up the achievements and lapses in the sphere in the final interview with the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia Derenik Dumanyan.
- The most problematic sphere of the healthcare this year was the sphere of medicines. A new project regarding the medicines has been developed by the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia. What stage is now on the activity of regulating the realm and when will the impact of the project give palpable results?
- Yes, we all are certain about the fact that there are serious problems in the sphere of medicines, which must be regulated. And in this respect the most significant step was the development and adoption of the main law of the realm, which will be followed by the development of numerous sublegal acts. In the present law we have included the suggestions, which sprang out from a number of discussions with the importers, manufacturers, and Armenian representatives of pharmaceutical organizations. Among the priorities of the state policy in this realm are the supply of the society with qualitative and secure medicines, physical and economic availability of the medicines, support of local production of medicines and many others.
- Summing up the current year will You please point out main achievements and problems?
- In accordance with the orders of the President of the Republic of Armenia and the Government the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia is engaged in the implementation of the reforms program and in accordance with these a number of legal documents, which target the formation of state inspectorate of healthcare, strengthening of the Scientific Center of Drug and Medical Technologies Expertise of the Ministry of healthcare of the Republic of Armenia have already been developed.
- Did You find out Your own formula of healthy life after years of working in the sphere of healthcare?
