The rebels released Basher Rabat, who was kidnapped near Aleppo

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. Two of the 7 Armenians kidnapped on the Beirut-Aleppo road – father and son Bashar and George Rabat have been released. The Spokesman of the National Prelacy of Armenia in Aleppo Jirayr Reisyan informed "Armenpress" that there is no information about the other kidnapped Armenians, but they are working to release them too. There is information that Bashar and George Rabat have been released for a ransom.

As to the information released on November 7 about the release of the kidnapped Armenian Sako Kozanyan, Reisyan said that the information does not correspond the truth. According to Reisyan the members of his family turned to the National Prelacy of Armenia in Aleppo to learn some information about their son.

The Press Secretary also stated that the clashes continue in several districts of Aleppo. The shooting can be heard in the Armenian districts as well.

Clashes lasting more than 18 months in Syria caused the death of more than 30 thousand people, including 4 dozens of Armenians.
