Humanitarian aid successfully reached Armenian club of Aleppo

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, ARMENPRESS. As a result of cooperation of Aleppo emergency organization and Syrian red half-moon, humanitarian aid from Armenia to Aleppo has already reached Armenian Club after Aram Manoukyan of Armenian National Primacy of Aleppo. Notwithstanding, way to airport is rather dangerous the parcels successfully reached Armenian club. Spokesman for Armenian National primacy of Aleppo Jirayr Reisyan said this in a conversation with "Armenpress". He said that at present moment an official ceremony is held and after it is over the parcels will be taken down and packed. According to Reisyan the aid will be distributed to all needy people of the region including both the Armenians and the Arabs. Reisyan mentioned that the aid will be supposedly distributed on October 17.

Talking about current situation in Aleppo he mentioned that altogether situation is calm. From time to time clashes in far districts occur. There is no notable news in Armenian districts. Few minutes ago an explosion took place in Suleymania district, but probably nothing serious happened.

As to the economic situation in Aleppo there is nothing positive yet, the situation is still unstable. Only few markets work.

Clashes in Syria lasting for already 18 months caused the death of more than 30 thousand people, including more than four dozen Armenians.
