YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, ARMENPRESS. Armenian premier of joint production of Armenian and Russian producers "С новым годом, Мамы" movie will be held in Moscow Cinema Theatre on October 18. For the premier of the film prominent French actor and producer Alain Delon will visit Armenia. In a conversation with "Armenpress" co-producer of the film and director of “Armenia Production” company Valeriy Saharyan said that in spite of Delon’s announcement that he will never again take part in movies in 2001, great actor agreed to take part in this movie.
Saharyan said: “During “Armenian Music Awards” on April 7 of the previous year we decided to make the best present for our women and invited outstanding actor Alain Delon for the "Legend” nomination". He also mentioned that "Enjoy Movies" Corporation wants to shoot a sequel of "Сновымгодом,Мамы"» entitled "Мамы" and invite Alain Delon to take part in the film. Saharyan said that his friends turned to Delon to take part in the movie, but his manager answered that in accordance with his declaration he will never again take part in any movie. Notwithstanding, after "Armenian Music Awards" Saharyan became friends with Delon, visited his house in Paris and Delon not merely became involved in the production, but agrees to take part in the film.
Co-producer of the movie jokingly said: "I always jock that Azerbaijani people are good merchants for selling goods, but we Armenians are good in negotiating".
When "Armenpress" reporter asked Saharyan what Alain Delon knew about Armenia Saharyan said that via his Armenian friends Delon had already found out that Armenian cognac is not worse than French one. Producer said: "Among his friends are such Armenians as Charles Aznavour and I hope that in frames of his visit French actor will have a chance to get acquainted with Armenia as well".
Delon will be in Armenia for two days and visit Ejmiatsin, Tsitsernakaberd memorial and other historical and cultural places.
