French Ambassador to Azerbaijan believes that Karabakh conflict will be settled

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: We believe that we will have progress in the negotiations process and find the solution for the Nagorno Karabakh conflict issue. But the progress, first, depends on the political will of the both parties. As reported by Armenpress, the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier told the Azerbaijani mass media representatives. "We can assist, but without the political will of the two countries it is impossible to get forward", - said the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

The diplomat stated that one of the main subjects, discussed recently by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and France in Paris, was the peaceful regulation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict issue. "We cannot say that France is not active in the process of the peaceful regulation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict issue. The last two meetings of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan took place in Paris", - said the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier in Baku.
