Azerbaijani armed groups fired 1500 shots towards Armenian positions

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS: 300 instances of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani armed forces were reported at the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan from September 9-15 , with 1500 shots fired from various caliber weapons towards Armenian positions.

As Nagorno Karabakh Republic Defense Army information and propaganda department informed Armenpress, thanks to the launched appropriate actions by Defense Army the Azerbaijani attempts were thwarted. Armenian side did not suffer losses: there are no victims recovered.

As Armenpress reported earlier within the period of August 5 and 11 the opponent violated the ceasefire regime about 200 times. Around 1000 shots were fired towards the Armenian position keepers by various caliber artillery armaments.
