YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS: At the meeting with journalists the President of the Assembly of Azerbaijani Armenians Grigori Ayvazyan stated that Azerbaijan had changed Ramil Safarov’s life imprisonment into death penalty, which will be soon carried out by Azerbaijanis. “The silence of the international community is conditioned by the Azerbaijani factor in the possible war against Iran and Safarov is a coin in this case”, - said Ayvazyan. According to him, it would be clear from the response of the international community that the Republic of Armenia and Armenians have only two allies: Armenian ground troops and the air forces.
Citing the words of the great Nikolo Makiavelli «It is impossible to avoid the war, it can only be postponed for the benefit of the enemy», Grigori Ayvazyan emphasized the necessity to keep to confident diplomacy of the Armenian party.
As reported by Armenpress, the President of the Assembly of Azerbaijani Armenians published an open call-letter, which particularly says: “Azerbaijani Armenian deportee community appeals to the Armenian authorities to immediately get out from the Karabakh negotiations’ long-term and ineffective process, as it only decreases the vigilance of the Armenian people against the Azerbaijani impending danger. Concurrently it is necessary to officially recognize the independence of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and be ready for inevitable war, as since the Sumgaitand Baku Massacres the Azerbaijani authorities have not changed their misanthropic attitude towards Armenians and see the final solution of the Armenian issue in mass destruction and genocide of the Armenians. The last developments connected with the sanguinary assassin Ramil Safarov prove it”.
