Armenian Ombudsman considers Safarov justification dangerous universal phenomenon

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS: Azerbaijani assassinate Ramil Safarov justification may pave the way for ethnic type killings and violence. The silence or incommensurate response by international organizations and states may also become dangerous in that context. In the briefing with Armenpress, Armenia's Human Rights Defender Karen Andreasyan called the occurred incident not only human rights grave breach but violation of moral properties. ''A very dangerous phenomena has been orchestrated in the universal, humanitarian sense'' the interlocutor underscored. In the words of Andreasyan there is no ground for appealing to the international court, consequently the issue must be solved in political basis.

''We can at least demand legal or material compensation for the sufferer's relatives residing currently in Armenia. In a broad sense the event must be politically condemned not by Armenian partner democratic states in Europe but in the USA or in any parts of the world , Hungary should be able to find some strength and apologize'' Karen Andreasyan told.

What refers to Azerbaijan Human Rights Defender has no expectations from this country. In his words the rights of Azerbaijani citizens are so frequently violated within the border of their own country that it is hopeless they will fathom they have breached other country’s citizen right. Karen Andreasyan has already sent a message to his counterpart Ombudsmen covering the existing situation. Some may come forth with righteous stance as a result and get engaged to their work, mind human rights defending.
