YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS: Currently Armenia lacks legal tools pertain to justification and release of penalty Azerbaijani Ramil Safarov assassinating Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan when the latter taking NATO English language courses in Budapest. Gurgen Margaryan family advocate, a lawyer Nazeli Vartanian commented on the spread statement about Safarov pardon.
"During these four years Azerbaijan was working in that direction and we within our capacities cared no efforts too "Vardanyan noted. In the words of the advocate Armenia must sue Azerbaijan, which this way becomes the full responsible of the committed crime, Armenpress reports. "We must seek path to be guided by international norms" the lawyer noted.

On February 19 of 2004 in Budapest Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov slayed with an ax Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan when the latter was sleeping. The two officers were taking part in English language courses in framework of NATO program in Budapest. Hungarian court sentenced Ramil Safarov to life imprisonment, without a right to be pardoned during the first 30 years in jail.
