Tigran Sargsyan hosted ADB Director Executive

YEREVAN, AUGSUT 31, ARMENPRESS: Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan hosted the delegation headed by Director Executive of Asian Development Bank Maurin Sitorus. “We stress the importance of strengthening relations with Asian Development Bank and their further development. Those programs which are implemented jointly have important meaning for Armenia. I am sure that your visit will give opportunity to clarify the strategy of our further cooperation” said Tigran Sargsyan.
Armenpress was informed from Information and public relations department of Armenian Government that Maurin Sitorus highly estimated the cooperation with Armenia and expressed satisfaction referring to all programs which are implemented jointly.
“I want to congratulate you for perfect economic performance and recording impressive economic growth. We hope that our joint programs will be favorable for further economic stable development of Armenia” mentioned ADB Director Executive.
Tigran Sargsyan put the importance of the fact that the grants of Asian Development Bank are directed to the formation of private sector which will give opportunity to improve the business environment of our country.
Speaking about suggestion to hold ADB annual conference in Baku in 2015 or 2016 Prime Minister Sargsyan mentioned that Armenia is not against it but our country will take part in the conference if the security of our delegation is ensured and Azerbaijan does not use that platform in order to issue political statements.
The head of the Government suggested ADB to take part in donor conferences which will be organized in Armenia in support of European Union and World Bank.
