It is high time for Artsakh to be involved in the NK conflict settlement negotiations: Seyran Ohanyan

Yerevan, August 14, ARMENPRESS: It is high time for the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh to participate in the NK conflict settlement negotiations as a negotiating side. As “Armenpress” reports the Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan made such a statement during the meeting with the hawk participants on August 14. The situation in NKR and rapid developments give the minister such a conviction. “They are slowly bringing to the fact that both Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing states come to a conclusion that it is high time for NK to be presented as a negotiating side and participate in the negotiation process of the settlement. We need time to have progress in this issue and be able to justify. The most important thing is that we have won and will reach the recognition of NKR”, the Minister of Defense highlighted.

Seyran Ohanyan reminded that Armenia and Russia are strategic partners, they have a quite strong and long-term contract, “Russian Federation has committed to provide us with modern arms and military equipment if necessary”, the minister recalled.
