YEREVAN, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS: Kim Kardashian and her famously curvy behind have always driven blokes wild, but some of her biggest superfans are girls. As Armenpress reports Citing The Sun, they spend hours watching socialite Kim, 31, and sisters Kourtney and Khloe on TV's Keeping Up With The Kardashians, devouring the love dramas and fashion tips.
And some spend thousands travelling to the US to shop in the Kardashians' boutiques. Here Kate Jackson talks to three British girls who admit to being Kard-carrying fanatics.
Jade Gray, 17, a beauty student from Borehamwood, Herts, spends hours trying to look just like Kim. She says:
''People always say I look like Kim Kardashian and I find it really flattering. Kim is half Armenian and I'm half Persian so we're very similar. ''She's beautiful and very glamorous so why wouldn't I want to look like her?''I watch videos on YouTube that teach you how to get hair like Kim, and how to copy her make-up. I spend hours watching them, ometimes up to two hours a day.
''And I do hundreds of squats and lunges every night before bed in an attempt to get a curvy bottom like hers. ''My parents gave me a trip to New York in 2010 for my 16th birthday, they knew how much I wanted to visit the New York Dash.
''And last year I got to meet Kim when she visited Debenhams on Oxford Street. I queued for five hours but it was worth it. It was really overwhelming but by far the best experience ever.''
Eleanor Dyke, 20, from the Isle of Wight, works for a cosmetics firm. She spent thousands on a trip to America to visit all the Kardashians’ clothing boutiques. She says: "Saying I'm obsessed with Kim Kardashian is an understatement. I love everything about her. "Like Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, I'm really into beauty and fashion.
"They own several clothing stores across America called Dash and I've always wanted to go to visit them. That’s why a friend and I went to America this year.
"It was the holiday of a lifetime. It cost us £16,000 in total but it was definitely worth every penny.
"I worked two jobs last summer to pay for my half. We spent six weeks travelling to all of the Dash stores as well as their new store, Khaos, in Las Vegas and Sears in Florida, who stock lots of Kardashian merchandise. "Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to meet any of the Kardashians which really upset me because I’d spent so much money on the trip.
"We did meet Malika Haqq though who is a friend of the family and has appeared in a few episodes.
"I constantly talk about the Kardashians and the best day of my life was when Khloe Kardashian tweeted me after I sent her a message saying that I loved her new series. I was so happy I felt like crying.''
Lauren Armstrong, 17, a tourism student of Wallsend, Tyne & Wear, spends more than 20 hours a week watching the family’s reality hit. She says:
''I can't get enough of the Kardashians. I watch at least three episodes a day. Once I watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians and the spin-off Khloe & Lemar for two days straight. I couldn't help myself.
''The show gets aired in America before it is shown in the UK though, so I'm always watching episodes online just so that I’m ahead of everyone else.
''I'm that obsessed with the programme, I even know that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney visit their Miami clothing store every summer. So I've booked a trip to Miami for this year.''
