Annual dollar average exchange rate increased by 12.5%

Yerevan, July 31, ARMENPRESS: In July of 2012 in the Armenian consumer and foreign exchange markets 1.5% and 0.4% decrease is registered accordingly in prices and rate of the Armenian money against the US dollar (July 1-30):the Armenian money has been evaluated. The National Statistical Service informed this “Armenpress”.

Compared to 2011 December this July 1.9% decrease is recorded in the consumer price, and 7.7% increase in the estimated exchange rate. In the same period of last year 0.4% and 1.8% growth is registered accordingly in the consumer prices and exchange rate.

In July 2012 the average exchange rate of dram against dollar was 412.85 drams, which exceeded the index of previous year’s July by 12.5%.
