Armenia records greater progress in mineral water exports year by year

YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS: Armenia registers larger progress year by year in export volumes in connection with natural and artificial mineral waters and beverages without sugar. As National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia briefed Armenpress, 7561 tons of natural and artificial mineral water and drink (without sugar) were exported in 2009, 2010- 12 777 tons, 2011- 13 294 tons, in accordance with the data covering the five months of the current year the data is -4397 tons. Armenian mineral water is in great demand in CIS, European and Middle East countries. "Jermuk Group" is considered a leader in the production and export volumes field.
60-65 % of its annually production‘’Jermuk Group’exports to 19 countries: where Russian Federation occupies the first place. Ukrainian and Kazakh markets are also in the center of attention of the company: they have intentions to increase export volumes.
As the company told Armenpress, export volumes are growing by 20% each year and the price of the product depends on a country's financial condition.
A number of other companies of the sphere abstained from providing information on the export volumes, considering it commercial confidentiality.
