Trial of Armenian former road police chief Margar Ohanyan’s postponed

YEREVAN, MARCH 1, ARMENPRESS. Court hearing of Margar Ohanyan and other former employees of police was delayed in Yerevan Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts Court of First Instance.

Defendant Stepan Karakhanyan's attorney Liana Grigoryan asked the judge Mkhitar Papoyan to postpone the trial of Margar Ohanyan case clarifying that her defendant is ill and could not be present in court hearing. Next court hearing is scheduled to take place on March 13.

The former road police chief Margar Ohanyan and a number of road policemen are accused of abusing their office and causing harm to the Republic.
