YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 28, ARMENPRESS: Famous Turkish lawyer, owner of Belge Publishing House in Istanbul Ragip Zarakolu, arrested within the KCK (Union of Communities in Kurdistan) case has applied to the European Court of Human Rights, Armenpress reports citing Firat agency.
Zarakolu, who has been in custody for already 120 days, applied to the European Court accusing Turkish law enforcement agents and court officials of illegal actions. In his lawsuit he stated that Turkish courts do not provide to his lawyers texts of his accusation as well as explanations for not breaking confidentiality.
Zarakolu's Belge publishing house has published many books on the Armenian Genocide.
