Armenia’s former road police chief Margar Ohanyan’s trial coming to the end

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 24, ARMENPRESS: The trial of the former road police chief Margar Ohanyan and others ended in the Yerevan Kentron and Nork Marash administrative court. The prosecutor publicized the evidences.
Defender Mkrtich Vasakyan said there is no act, a written document that Margar Ohanyan provided little fuel to the police. There are only three testimonies about it. The acts in favor of Ohanyan are more, the presented reports were legal. Ohanyan insisted he did not get fuel.
Prosecutor Harutyun Harutyunyan presented yet not publicized preliminary testimonies and interrogations. In neither of cases Ohanyan pleaded guilty. Harutyunyan filed a motion to prolong the trial. The next court hearing is scheduled for March 1.
