ANKARA, DECEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS:

Members of the Turkish government have started opposing the fact of adoption of the Bill Criminalizing Armenian Genocide Denial at the French National Assembly.

Armenpress reports, citing Turkish "Haber 10" news website, that Turkish Minister of Work and Social Security Faruk Çelik and Minister of Environment and Forests of Turkey Veysel Eroğlu were the first to refer to the adoption of the bill.

Faruk Çelik told journalists that he pities people, who "think they can change historical truths by means of laws". In his turn, Eroğlu stated that "they are ready to take relevant revenge on France".
