“Winter Festival Armenia” virtually marks New Year

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS:

"Winter Festival Armenia" project since 2007 is aimed at creating kind and joyful atmosphere in Yerevan making the winter colorful.

"When the Winter Festival was newly forming there were no high-quality and desirable events in Yerevan," author of the project, director of "Dream Communications" company Raffi Niziblian told a news conference today.

According to him, the goal of creating festive mood and promoting winter tourism in Armenia is being successfully implemented for already the fifth year. Many ideas and events presented by the festival have been widely spread and used by other organizations as well.

Every year "Winter Festival Armenia" brings new innovations. This year for the first time virtual New Year is being celebrated. Different on-line competitions, events are being conducted.

December 26 virtual party will take place in the Facebook page of the festival.
