There is no political crisis in Armenia so that government resigns

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS:

If any government finds that the tasks it faces do not allow moving forward, then, naturally, it resigns. There is no such an issue in case of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said December 7 in a briefing with journalists, commenting on the proposal of expressing distrust to the government by ARF, Armenpress reports.

"The issue on resignation or non-resignation of the government is political. We have an absolute majority in the National Assembly, the management level is quite high, and we constantly study the opinion of the population on the measures taken by the government, we distinctly see who are discontent and who support us. I think there is no political crisis in Armenia so that the government resigns," RA Prime Minister stressed.

The proposal of the opposition party on expressing distrust to the government the PM considers the right of the political force. "That question is of political content, as on one hand, our partners have an opportunity to voice the issues exciting them, and on the other hand, they try to attract the attention of voters," said Tigran Sargsyan.

In answer to the question whether the registered indexes cannot appear a reason for resignation, the Prime Minister said there is no state in the world, where there are fulfilled indexes. "That is why there is a crisis, and if you follow not only the events taking place in Armenia, but also in the world, you will see that the crisis is a great challenge for governments, and all the economic indexes are reconsidered once a week," said Tigran Sargsyan, calling the mass media to cover the registered processes objectively for avoiding additional stir.
