YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS:
The elections of the local self governmental bodies are more the issue of society. Speaking to reporters today member of the RPA faction Lernik Alexanyan said in such elections greater significance is being attached to human relations. "The results of the elections in Ijevan will not have big impact on republican elections. The former mayor could have gathered so many complaints which could be the cause of not being elected," the RPA parliamentarian said.
Member of the "Heritage" faction Anahit Bakhshyan said from these elections it might be concluded that each party must work seriously in case it has frank goals.
Alexanyan noted that after every elections conclusions and analysis are being made but not on the scale of party. According to him, the elections of local self-governmental bodies differ from republican elections with not being as much politicized as the latter. "If mayor loses in elections it does not mean that the party is losing," he noted.
