Armenia awarded with “The Best Actors Staff” prize in Sochi

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS:The best puppet shows of Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Georgia, Romania, Greece and Moldova were presented October 13-19 in Sochi at Black Sea Countries Puppet Theater Festival.

"At this festival we have presented "Fairytale Fallen from Cloud" performance by theater director Zaruhi Antonyan, which deserved "The Best Actors Staff" prize," Artistic Director of Hovhannes Tumanyan State Puppet Theater Ruben Babayan told Armenpress, adding that before that the performance had already been awarded with the presidential award of Plovdiv International Festival of Chamber Performances. "Like any festival, this one, too, was a good opportunity first for experience exchange and surely, it is joyous, that we received a prize," Mr. Babayan said.

Hovhannes Tumanyan State Puppet Theater already has invitations of participation in festivals from Yekaterinburg and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsko.
