YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11, ARMENPRESS:
The necessity of dialogue in the country always exists and it does not relate to concretely this period. Head of the coalition task group set up for dialogue with the Armenian National Congress Davit Harutyunyan said, adding that in general dialogue is an important platform both with parliamentary and extra parliamentary forces. "But the dialogue cannot be an end in itself. If one of the parties is trying now not value the dialogue but present regular ultimatums, of course the dialogue cannot be effective", Harutyunyan said.
In response to the question whether all the opportunities for dialogue are exhausted, he said: "I think no. They can never be exhausted, at certain moment the ANC will get disappointed and start giving sensible assessment to the situation and a new, additional phase of dialogue will be needed during which the parties will come to a conclusion that they are ready for dialogue".
"We are always open for continuing the dialogue", he stressed.
