YEREVAN, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS:
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a private conversation with French President Nicolas Sarkozy who was on a state visit to Armenia.
Press office of the President reported that at the end of the meeting the Armenian and French presidents have held a joint news conference.
Earlier, President Serzh Sargsyan awarded Order of Glory to Nicolas Sarkozy for strengthening traditional friendly relations between Armenia and France, expansion of comprehensive cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the French Republic as well as for his personal contributions to maintenance of peace and international security.
Simultaneously with the private meeting between Serzh Sargsyan and Nicolas Sarkozy at the presidential residence, Armenian and French ministers included in the official delegations had bilateral meetings and discussed intensification of comprehensive cooperation between Armenia and France.
