"Computer Science and Information Technology 2011" (CSIT-2011) eighth international conference kicked off today at the RA National Academy of Sciences. Chairman of the NAS Radik Martirosyan signified the role of the conference, noting that it brings with it new approaches, new results.
Academician Samvel Shukuryan said the goal of the event is development of computer science and encouragement of exchange of scientific and information technology information between the experts of the sphere.
Shukaryan said basic knowledge promotes the development of applied sphere in Armenia.
"CSIT-2011" international conference is being organized once in two weeks. About 150 scientists from Armenia, Russia, France, Bulgaria, Hungary, Canada, Belgium, Georgia, Taiwan, Germany, Ukraine, Iran and Latvia participate in the event.
