Yerevan to welcome upcoming celebrations with grand illumination

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS:

On the eve of celebrations dedicated to 20th anniversary of RA independence and Erebuni-Yerevan, the repairing, external decorative and furnishing large-scale works are going on in the capital. During the celebrations Yerevan will be introduced to Yerevan people and thousands of guests of the capital in a new way.

Press service of Yerevan Mayor's Office told Armenpress that 3 overground crossings will be handed to exploitation- in Shiraz and Davit Bek Streets and Azatutyan Avenue. Reconstruction works of pavements of central streets intended by 2011 program will be brought to an end. Works of placing of traffic lights in the Republican Square and artistic illumination of statues and buildings presenting architectural value are going on in the republic. Banks and private companies in Armenia actively participate in implementation of the programs.

Yerevan Mayor's Office assures that during the celebrations the capital will have an unprecedented illumination.
