Tigran Sargsyan says assessments relating to Armenia are results of objective analysis

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS:

The assessment relating to Armenia in the National Competitiveness Report is the result of objective analysis, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said at a cabinet sitting today, pointing out that Armenia has progressed with 6 points. "I extremely highlight reference to our both strong and weak sides. Thanks to it our competitiveness rate increases", the prime minister said pointing out that the progress would have been bigger if not the high inflation registered in 2010. Armenia has regressed 15 points because of high inflation.

Tigran Sargsyan also highlighted the reforms implemented for the improvement of business environment. "We will register serious progress here in five indexes with 2011 results", the head of the government said.

Referring to Armenia's rating by "Fitch Ratings", Tigran Sargsyan considered it quite objective. "Here both our relative privileges and weak sides have been analyzed", he said.
