YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS:
The inner and foreign political agenda of Turkey is so busy that Turkey will reject the Armenian-Turkish protocols as long as possible, Turkologist Artak Shakaryan said speaking to Armenpress, adding that in the pre-electoral round the particular significance is being attached to the regulation of the inner political field which Turkey does with great difficulty.
"It is a long time since the Kurdish parliamentarians are refusing to take their parliamentary mandates. New challenges and expectations exist in the foreign political direction, the most important of which is the developments in relations with Syria. By the way the ruling administration headed by Recep Tayyip Erdogan is in beneficial positions and after all it returning to the painful issue of the Armenian-Turkish protocols is undesirable for them", Shakaryan said, convincing that Turkey will again discuss the Armenian-Turkish protocols only in case of a strong pressure on it like it was done in Zurich.
