Davit Jamalyan Says Armenia Has Capacity to Fight against S-300 Systems

S-300 antiaircraft defense systems do not grant Azerbaijan a drastic privilege in attack, according to Davit Jamalyan, military expert.

He said today in an interview with Armenpress that this missile may cause some difficulties for Armenia, however it is considered weapon for defense only. "This systems cannot have a great influence, as we can destroy their air forces with our capacity," the expert said. He says Armenia has the capacity to fight against S-300 systems. As to the issue of pilotless planes, which are produced in Armenia, "the antiaircraft defense becomes more difficult for Azerbaijan, as S-300 systems do not find those planes easily".

Davit Jamalyan reminded that Armenia owns S-300 systems as well. "Our air is secure: we nullify the dynamics of the Azerbaijani aviation with the means we own," the expert said.
