The daily Capital writes that the "rescuers" of Armenia's chemical giant "Nairit" were given another two weeks as yesterday, essentially, the deadline for the submission of "applications of interests" in Nairit ended but Energy and Natural Resources Ministry established new deadline by the end of June. The paper says press secretary of the ministry told the daily that taking into consideration that there are companies interested in the selection of Nairit plant's operator the ministry decided to prolong the time for presentation of application till the end of the month. The paper says judging from the response it becomes clear that no company has presented an application or an undesired company for the ministry has presented it, otherwise the ministry would not have reviewed the time of submission of applications.
The daily Azg writes that members of the Armenian Pan-National Movement continue leaving the party, besides the member of party's administration Ararat Zurabyan, another member of administration Hrach Hakobyan presented application. Member of party Davit Arakelyan who was convicted with March 1 2008 unrest is also leaving the party. The paper informs that these three including former members of administration Massis Ayvazyan and Hovhannes Ghazaryan are planning to become members of "Free Democrats" party.
The daily Hayots Ashkhar writes that the visit of His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians to Georgia promises to change the working procedures of discussions of the spiritual-cultural disputes between the two countries but not their essence and nature. The paper says it does not mean though that the Georgian authorities and the Georgian Orthodox Church, dictating the former political line in this issue, review their position over the fact of restriction of the rights of the Armenian community and seizure of its spiritual-cultural monuments. The paper says in reality showing the green light in front of the Armenian Catholicos is agreed not with moves in the Armenian-Georgian relations but with the recent attempts to "reform" the spiritual institutions of the ethnic minorities in Georgia.
