The daily Azg writes that Primate of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Church Archbishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan stated that no document was signed between the Armenian and Georgian churches, like the Georgian mass media reported. The paper says he informed that works are being carried out on the document that probably will be signed today. The paper says the Georgian press widely covered the statement of the Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili that describes the visit of the Armenian Catholicos to Georgia as historic.
The paper says though the visit of the Armenian Catholicos to Javakheti continues, the Georgian press did not much referred to it. The paper says it is difficult to understand why the really historic visit of the Armenian Catholicos is being so poorly covered, and the official information comes day later not presenting interest. The paper says putting aside the visit, it is difficult to understand the silence of the Holy See connected with the statement of the Georgian press about the communiqué signed as if June 11. The paper says only the being signed of it was rejected, which gives room for doubts that the appeared text is not far from the draft variant.
The paper expressed hope that after returning to Yerevan the Catholicos will present the details and impressions of the visit, not being satisfied with common "press release".
The daily Capital writes that the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Armenia has become a problem as the steps undertaken do not give the expected results. The daily says the main problems are caused by the tough tax policy, unfavorable competition terms, pressures of the big business. The paper says the SME sphere is formally under the limelight of the Armenian government. Capital says at the World Economic Forum in Vienna Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated that without the development of SME there cannot be middle class, and without the latter there cannot be civil society. The paper though says the strategic priorities for the development of the sphere have not essentially changed since 2002.
