The editor of the daily Aravot writes that yesterday leader of the "Heritage" party Raffi Hovhannissyan stated that he is not going to claim for the office of the president of the country. The editor says it is a very clever step which will grant certain freedom to this figure: not seeing potential competitor in Raffi Hovhannissyan, the authorities and members of the Armenian National Congress will not attack the leader of this party after his any initiative, trying to "spoil" him. So this statement may be considered a step toward discharging the situation.

The editor says in the same press conference Mr Hovhannissyan made conclusions how the 4th president will be. The author says it is an interesting issue as he thinks that in near future in our country there will not be the fourth president and the competition will be held among the three. And the reason of it, continues the editor, is also known: as far as the Karabakh conflict has not been solved only those people can take up the responsibility who in this or that way are tied with the war.
