YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS: “After the parliamentary elections in Turkey no progress, normalization of relations may be expected in the Armenian-Turkish relations”, Turkologist Ruben Safrastyan said speaking to Armenpress.
According to him, in case of possibility of such process certain prerequisites would have been noticeable now. “I see no prerequisites in registering progress in the Armenian-Turkish relations. Just the opposite I think in the last period of elections, two months has left for it, the nationalistic wave in Turkey will strengthen which will bring to the final miscarriage of the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations by Turkey”, Safrastyan said.
