Naira Zohrabyan: We underestimate the propaganda war

YEREVAN, APRIL 25, ARMENPRESS: “We underestimate the propaganda war”, chairwoman of the European Integration Affairs Standing Committee of the Armenian National Assembly Naira Zohrabyan said today. And though according to her we cannot compete in respect of resources as only this year money were allocated for propaganda aims, already a council coordinating the works of our delegation in the international establishments has already been set up with the assistance of the National Assembly. Naira Zohrabyan said the necessity of such council was felt long ago, it will also include representatives from Artsakh.

Naira Zohrabyan said for misinforming film about Khojalu 1.5 million USD state award was provided in Azerbaijan. It shows for what this state is ready for spreading misinformation. The parliamentarian said last year they presented a book to the European establishment compiled with the assistance of the director of the Armenian Genocide museum-institute Hayk Demoyan. The book presents the thoughts of Azerbaijani figures, for instance the words of the Azeri ombudsman Suleymanova who said that Ramil Safarov must become an example for each Azerbaijani, or the thought of Azeri parliamentarian who said that Karabakh must be cleaned from Armenians. Naira Zohrabyan said there is no interference in the book, only the words of Azeris are included.

She once again pointed out the necessity of providing money for propaganda aims.
