YEREVAN, APRIL 18, ARMENPRESS: The authorities have always been for a constructive dialogue, according to Mkrtich Minasyan, member of the National Assembly ARP faction.
Mkrtich Minasyan said today at a meeting with journalists that the republic has some issues, but those issues should be settled only within the framework of the RA legislation.
“The steps by the opposition seem to create an image that there is an opportunity for some dialogue. This is important, as everybody should understand, that not only the authorities but also the acting political front is answerable to the state and nation,” Mkrtich Minasyan said.
According to Suren Abrahamyan, Armenian National Congress representative, no ultimatum has been presented to the authorities; they “proposed some rational solutions to several issues”. “The authorities should settle the issues, we have presented,” Suren Abrahamyan said.
In response to the statement, Mkrtich Minasyan said the opposition must realize that the presented issues cannot be settled within a day.
