Aram Karapetyan says insecure people are not interested in relations between opposition forces

YEREVAN, APRIL 13, ARMENPRESS: The relations between the oppositional forces have no connection with the solution of the everyday issues of the people, leader of the “New Times” party Aram Karapetyan said at a news conference today, expressing conviction that the socially insecure people do not care whether Levon Ter-Petrosyan approached Raffi Hovhannisyan at the Freedom Square or not.

“Mass media discusses the topics which cannot ensure any positive change in the social-economic life of the state,” Karapetyan said, adding that Armenia’s inner-political life is very relative and the relations between individuals can change several times in a year. “For long four years Artashes Geghamyan was accusing Levon Ter-Petrosyan but now he sees positive points in certain statements of the first president. This shows that personal contacts and mutual accusations are of temporary nature and no attention must be paid to them”, the leader of the party said.
