Analyst: Classes of snipers in schools of Azerbaijan cause revanchist sentiments

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS: The organization of classes of snipers in secondary schools of Azerbaijan, for high-graders, is aimed at keeping hot the processes taking place over the conflict, political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan said speaking to Armenpress, adding that Azerbaijan does not want to see “frozen” conflict and is undertaking steps for always keeping processes around Karabakh up-to-dated.

“The organization of the classes is for two different auditoriums – international community and inner auditorium. As a bright example of totalitarian country the Azerbaijani authorities wish to keep their own illegalities under the patriotic strive and calls. An attempt is being made to keep the people far from the social issues reasoning the hotness of the conflict and the aggression of the Armenian side,” the political analyst said, adding that with these classes they feed the young people with revanchist sentiments and wishes to settle the conflict in military way, the political analyst pointed out.

To inform, the Azerbaijani volunteer military-patriotic sport technical republican council came up with a initiative to organize classes of snipers. The graduates of the classes – 24 people – will get an opportunity to use their knowledge in the conflict line against the soldiers of the defense army of Artsakh.
