YEREVAN, APRIL 1, ARMENPRESS: Armenian-Georgian good neighborly relations must serve for the elimination of issues of Javakhq, president of the “Lernashkharh” union Valeri Arabyan said at a press conference today, adding that it is necessary to undertake all measures to make the Georgian authorities turn to the Javakhqi Armenians like the Armenian authorities now turned to farmers.

“During the recent period the Armenian authorities have turned to villages. We must remember that Javakhq is also a rural region and its people also need support. Serious investments are necessary,” Arabyan said.

President of the “A-Info” union of Javakhq Artak Gabrielyan said Armenians are leaving Javakhq as they cannot find jobs. Referring to Armenian-Georgian relations, Gabrielyan noted that Javakhq must be a bridge for their development and reinforcement. “It will contribute to the solution of regional issues,” he said.
