FM: Armenian and EU senior officials assess RA-EU partnership positive

YEREVAN, MARCH 18, ARMENPRESS: The assessments of the Armenian and European senior officials over the Armenia-EU relations are positive, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan said at a news conference today.

He said during Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s visit to Brussels the EU senior officials gave high assessments to the Armenia-EU cooperation.

“Recently the cooperation with the EU in the Eastern Partnership format was being discussed in Bratislava. The countries were presenting the processes in talks between the EU and their countries. One of the countries that has registered the biggest progress noted that they are discussing several chapters and have already closed the 8th one, and when it was my turn to speak, I said we are not doing bad too and we have already closed the 13th,” the minister joked.
