PM says EU establishments fully assist Armenia

YEREVAN, MARCH 18, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated today at the cabinet sitting that the Armenian government has full and multi-sided assistance of all the establishments of the EU. The prime minister said that this assistance will give serious opportunity to the RA government to give new impetus to the reforms in 2011.

“We must essentially activate the cooperation of all our ministries with corresponding establishments of the EU. It means that our ministers must be in direct ties with their partners in Brussels,” Tigran Sargsyan said, noting that in the coming week the government will conduct consultation during which the ministers must present the programs they are carrying out, the commitments Armenia has assumed and issues that exist for presenting them to Brussels and getting assistance.

The premier said that the meeting with the Belgian prime minister and chairman of the Senate testify that there is a great potential to develop bilateral relations.
