YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Armed Forces are the most battle-worthy in the South Caucasus and it is a fact for all, political analyst, director of the Armenian Center for National and International Studies Richard Kirakossyan said at a discussion of human rights protection in the Armenian army.
According to him, the strength of the army is not in having much weaponry. “It consists of several elements, including the ensuring of high level of discipline and education level in the Armed Forces,” the political analyst said, calling on being intolerant toward negative incidents in the army and be successive in excluding them.
Kirakossyan highlighted the establishment of regulation book which has already became subject for discussion in the National Assembly.
The political analyst highly assessed the program of reforms carried out in the army initiated by Seyran Ohanyan.
