Artak Zakaryan: Leadership has enough political will to continue reforms

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 21, ARMENPRESS: Armenian leadership has enough political will to continue the reforms, which will gradually make Armenia a more prosperous state, member of “Republican” faction Artak Zakaryan said at today’s press conference, adding that there are not issues to which the leadership does not response.

Another speaker of the press conference said that chairman of New Times Party Aram Karapetyan is of the opinion that the activities running in Armenia will enable to understand that in our country it will be impossible not to say “nothing will happen”.

In response Mr. Zakaryan noted that the opposition wishes the path leading to the leadership to be the shortest. “The opposition puts the hope on different savageries, through which it will try to come to leadership, but this time too the opposition will get disappointed,” Mr. Zakaryan expressed confidence. According to him, there are flaws in our country from the legal viewpoint, but the best way to solve them is the regular processing and not the realization of the goals of the opposition through savageries.

Mr. Karapetyan noted that he is not going leave the political field and does not exclude that he may put forth his candidacy in presidential elections 2013.
