YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS: Any unstable situation in Armenia can impact on both the internal and foreign policy, according to Alexander Margarov, political scientist, head of the Institute of CIS States. He said today at a meeting with journalists that according to many international experts, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are the most unstable countries of the post-Soviet region. As to the inner-political situation, the political scientist mentioned that there are several disputes between the coalition partners. However, he says, in this situation the opportunities of the ‘Prosperous Armenia’ party are limited.

In case the party decides to act as a separate player, ‘they will have to think about a leader, who has a real opportunity to fight in the political field for votes during the presidential elections’. As to the inner-political situation’s influence on the regulation of the NK issue, Alexander Margarov noted that there is no drastic conflict between the authorities and opposition of Armenia.
