YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 3, ARMENPRESS: The decision of the PACE Bureau on the sub-committee on the Karabakh issue continues being contradictory, and this decision particularly contradicts the calls of broker countries to stay back from such activities of other organizations that can harm the negotiation process. At January 13 press conference foreign affairs minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov stated about the importance of not harming the process.
Diplomatic sources told Armenpress that the representatives of the OSCE Minsk group countries expressed their complaint over the decision made by the PACE Bureau. They said the responsibility for the negative consequences of the made decision completely falls on the PACE Bureau.
They called on the PACE chief body to respect the format of the negotiation process. Representatives of France and Russia noted that the public discussions by the public figures not aware of the negotiation details are of no help for the process.
