Alexander Iskandaryan: Nobody is interested in war

YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, ARMENPRESS: There is no party in the zone of the Karabakh conflict interested in war, Director of the Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan said today at a meeting with journalists.

Neither the internal parties –Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan, nor the external players – Russia, Europe and America, are interested in real development of military activities,” he said. Mr. Iskandaryan simultaneously stressed that he personally finds it difficult to imagine the opportunity of military activities in conditions of real political arrangement.

In this regard Executive Director of the International Center for Human Development Tevan Poghosyan noted that even if a war resumes, it will not be like the previous one.
